In tonight’s program our special guest Mohammad Reza Shaheed will be reporting on Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s official visit to France and the latest news of the Middle East.
Mohammad Reza Shaheed:
Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s visit has been more than a state visit for the expansion of trade links between Saudi Arabia and France. Rather, it has been more about discussions between the two countries’ officials about Iran’s meddling in Yemen and Syria as well as the nuclear deal. Bilateral trade issues have also been discussed and new agreements made, including a $20b deals with the French energy company TOTAL.
The Moroccan King has also arrived in France and is due to meet with President Macron shortly.

In the past there has been some disagreement between the Saudis and the Moroccans over the creation of a military alliance of the Arab countries and it appears that the French are now mediating between the two countries.
We follow the program with the latest news of the resignation of the mayor of Tehran and how the public prosecutor of thecapital city is so furious about Mr. Najafi’s personal decision.
